Karl Gets Revenge Against Milwaukee » Brats & Beer

After slipping past the Charlotte Bobcats Friday night, the Bucks failed to overcome Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets last night. Anthony scored 38 to fuel his team’s 100-93 victory. Former Milwaukee coach George Karl reportedly used his own desire for revenge as a motivational tool to get his .500 club fired up for the game, though he also suggested that some players would be packing their bags if they didn’t get the win. (Note to GK: its been a couple years since you got fired, maybe now would be a good time to let it go. Anyway, you were the highest paid coach in the NBA and still failed to get the Bucks to the championship, so what did you really expect was going to happen?) For Milwaukee, who failed to even hold the lead in the game, Michael Redd was the top scorer with 25 points and Bobby Simmons scored 15. Jamaal Magloire scored 13 points and had 13 rebounds. The Bucks fall to 19-13 on the season and now trail Detroit by 10 and a half games. They open a three-game road trip through the South with a match against Dallas on Monday night.
