How Denny Green Avoided Another Early Retirement » Brats & Beer

Hi, Michael Bidwill here. You know me and the old man were talking, and we’re not real happy about the way this season is going. I mean, we sold out our season tickets for the first time in like a hundred years at our brand new stadium, we even got some fool correspondence school paying us money to put their stupid name on the building. And now look at us, we’re 1-7. That’s pretty damn depressing.

Like I was saying, me and the old man were talking and we decided the key to the Cardinals success is to get that #1 draft pick next year, so we’re keeping Dennis Green as our head coach. We’re up against Miami and Detroit for that pick y’all, so we can’t afford to win any more games. And we think Denny gives us the best chance to do that. Or rather not do that. Or whatever. What do I look like, a math major?

So to all the Cardinals fans out there, thanks for your patronage and we’ll see you all back here next year, right?
