Cyclones Come Up Short In OT » Brats & Beer

ISU men’s basketball team battled hard today but failed to put Texas A&M away when they had the chance. Rahshon Clark had a chance to give the Cyclones a four point lead with 34 seconds to play but missed a free throw, and with 17 seconds remaining Kenneth White hit a clutch three-pointer for the Aggies that sent the game into overtime. From there A&M took control of the game, outscoring Iowa State 11-2 down the stretch with the help of three-pointers by White and Josh Carter. It was a pretty disappointing loss because ISU looked pretty good and seemed to have control of the game. However, they kept launching long jumpers and three-point attempts, too often missing the mark. They really have to try harder to work the ball inside because otherwise all that hard work on defense is going to waste. With the loss, the Clones fall to 2-3 in the Big 12 and 12-6 overall. They travel to Missouri on Wednesday.
As for Wisconsin, I’m not even going to post about the Badgers’ 65-55 loss to the North Dakota State School for Wayward Girls. Seriously disgusting, boys.
