The University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team closed out their exhibition round with an easy win over Division III Lawrence, 81-46, and are set to travel to St. Thomas to face Norfolk State in the Paradise Jam Friday night. Forward Alando Tucker scored 25 points with six boards and a steal that he took down the court for a layup. UW still has some work to do to improve their shooting from the foul line and turnovers have been a problem in their two preseason matchups, but I’m looking for good things come January 5 when they open the Big 10 season against Iowa.
