Okay, took a little time off from thinking about the Packers, but it is Bears Week so we have to get geared up here people.

Looks like Green Bay will have a new-look offensive line again for the second week in row, with coach Sherman moving Grey Ruegamer to right guard in place of Will Whitticker. Pardon my French, but it’s about damn time the coaching staff has given up on this experiment.

Sure, it sounded like a good story back in August, the seventh-round draft pick surprising everyone and winning the starting position. But weeks ago Sherman & Co. should have realized it just wasn’t going to work out. I think watching the Bears front four in action convinced them that Brett Favre will need a lot more protection than Whitticker could provide. Let’s hope they’re right. You know that defense is licking its chops after how many beatings they’ve taken over the past dozen years.

It’s going to be ugly, but we have to find a way to win.
