Will the Badgers Get Their Arse Kicked Again? » Brats & Beer

This weekend’s game against Northern Illinois couldn’t have come at a better time with the Badgers riding a two-game skid. On the other hand, a loss to the Huskies would definitely put a quick end to the season.
Despite the fact that NIU is 1-6 this year they’re probably not a team the defensively challenged Badgers should overlook. Justin Anderson is averaging 124 yards rushing per ball game, so the Huskies will probably try and spread the defense and run for daylight. On offense Wisconsin should be able to run on Northern Illinois but you know they’re going to double on Travis Beckum and just come after Tyler Donovan on passing downs.
I’m hoping though that they take care of business and get this win, and that it leads to some confidence to carry them into the Indiana game the next week.
