Wisconsin got off to a slow start against Michigan and never recovered, eventually falling 85-76 to the Wolverines. The Badgers trailed the entire game, getting as close as a couple points early before fall back by 11 at halftime. Kam Taylor tried to spark a late rally hitting four three-point buckets in the final five minutes and making a layup with 31 seconds remaining that made the score 81-76. Taylor led the team with 29 points, while Alondo Tucker scored 21. UW falls to 5-2 in the Big 10 and are now tied with Michigan and Illinois for the conference lead. They host #7 Illinois (19-2, 5-2 Big 10) on Tuesday.
