Wisconsin took it on the chin last night at the Kohl Center, losing to Minnesota 4-5. A rash of penalties and poor execution allowed the Gophers to take a 5-1 lead in the first two periods, but the Badgers came back to score three in the final 20 minutes on goals by Jack Skille, Nick Licari, and Matt Ford. Unfortunately, the deficit was too large and the comeback too late to save UW from suffering their third straight loss. The Badgers will get another chance to turn it around tonight when they complete the weekend series.
