Sherman To Coach Aggies? » Brats & Beer

Spotted a small item over at Every Day Should Be Saturday regarding our old friend, former Packers head coach and draft day guru Mike Sherman. It seems his name is being tossed around as a possible replacement at Texas A&M should the school decide to buyout Dennis Franchione’s contract after this season.

Considering that Sherman was an assistant there once long ago, and he now has some new ties to the area through his current position with the Texans, it’s probably not too much of a longshot that they would look his way. Although, if Sherman goes into the college ranks how will he ever complete the collection of former Packers players he’s building there in Houston?
