The Journal Sentinel has a good piece today on Packers great Willie Wood. It’s sad to hear about players struggling in old age with health problems — especially dementia — but it’s good to hear that Wood is being taken care of. I also like the quote from Jerry Kramer: “Nitschke used to say he wasn’t scared of (Vince) Lombardi,” Kramer said. “He said he was scared of Willie.”
