Whew, looks like maybe the Wisconsin basketball team took out a little of their pent up aggression on Penn State tonight. Bouncing back from the national embarrassment of their loss to North Dakota Academy for Agricultural Arts, the Badgers whooped up on the Nittany Lions 72-43. Alando Tucker led the team with 17 points and eight rebounds, while Ray Nixon and Kam Taylor slammed in 14 each; Mike Flowers added 10 points off the bench. The Badgers held Penn State scoreless for a good eight minutes early in the ballgame while building a 20 point advantage, and led 40-18 at the half. That’ll show ‘em. Currently ranked 21st, Wisconsin remains atop the Big 10 with a 5-1 conference record and a 15-4 mark overall. They travel to Ann Arbor on Saturday to take on Michigan (14-3, 4-2 Big 10).
