More Evidence That Dome Stadiums Are Evil » Brats & Beer

If there’s any doubt out there that dome stadiums are a blight on society, check out this tidbit from the Minneapolis Star-Tribune:

A crowd of 63,924 cheered loudly when the Jumbotron screens displayed an aerial view of the Metrodome, followed by a shot of several planes streaking across a cloudy sky. At the same time, the distinct roar of jets could be heard — but, of course, no jets could be seen through the Dome’s roof.

In reality, the planes were videotaped during a flight training mission last week. The jet engines were recorded and played on the Metrodome speakers.

What a bunch of morons. Lying, cheating, stinking morons at that.

You know, I have no love for Seattle or their football team, but I will say they earned some props back when the Seahawks replaced their suck ass dome with an outdoor stadium. Even the Golden Gophers are building an outdoor stadium, and those people are not exactly mucho macho. That pretty much confirms that Vikes fans are the biggest pussies on the planet.
