Is Brett Favre A Cutter? » Brats & Beer

Deanna, please remove all sharp objects from the Favre household before your husband does some serious damage to himself. Brett clearly can’t be trusted with big boy scissors because he was held out of practice today due to a cut on his finger.
According to the Press-Gazette’s Insider Blog, the veteran Packers quarterback suffered the cut at home Monday night. Seriously, the man is in the last half of a 10-year, $100 million contract, you’d think he could hire someone to at least do the prep work in the kitchen.
Earlier in training camp, No. 4 cut his hand at home, though he didn’t miss any practice time. Are he and Deanna practicing their knife-throwing act? Is it just non-stop rounds of 5-finger fillet around the Favre dining table? People, please be more careful.
On the bright side, even if (God forbid) Favre was to slice off a finger, he’d still be able to carve up the Minnesota defense this weekend. The Purple Passion Police have allowed almost seven yards a passing play against Atlanta, Detroit, and Kansas City, so the Packers should have no trouble making their way downfield for points on Sunday. It’ll probably be close in the first half once again, but soon enough that defense will wear down and then Captain Favrelous will tack on a few more TDs to surpass Marino’s record.
