As the kids say these days, gotta give some props to UW-Milwaukee and UW-Green Bay for victories this weekend in men’s basketball. The Panthers overcame the warriors of Hawaii 58-52 with Adrian Tigert scoring 16 points and Joah Tucker adding 10 more. Milwaukee is now 4-2 on the season and will face the UW-Madison Badgers on Thursday. The Phoenix, meanwhile, rebounded from their loss to the Badgers last week to defeat the Montana State Bobcats 75-73. Ryan Evanochko led the team with 28 points, while Josh Lawrence pumped in 14 and Ryan Tillema added 13 more. Green Bay improved to 3-5 and plays the East Michigan Eagles on Wednesday.
