Day two of the championship hangover and the doctor has prescribed focusing on more pleasant topics to fill the void left in the wake of the Packers season. Something the rising stock of the Badgers basketball team.
I’ve been so keenly obsessed with the Green Bay Packers the past month or more that I’ve hardly read much of anything about UW basketball and I haven’t seen a single game yet. That changes tonight when the #11 Badgers host Michigan. (Thankfully the game is on ESPN and not on the Big Ten Network.)
Wisconsin is 5-0 in the Big 10 and 15-2 overall, losing to just Duke and Marquette in the early season warmup. They have a balanced attack on offense with five different players stepping up to lead scoring the past five games, thwarting defenses that want to double team someone. In addition to the official polls, a lot of other people are starting to take serious notice of what Bo Ryan and the Badgers are doing.
The game tonight against the Wolverines starts at 6pm. On Wisconsin!
