Giuliani Hates The Packers » Brats & Beer

Apparently yesterday at a campaign stop in Florida, former NYC mayor and presidential hopeful Rudi Giuliani was asked to sign a Green Bay Packers hat. Being a NY Giants fan, of course, he refused. I guess he doesn’t care if he gets any votes from the Badger state, or maybe he just doesn’t think he’ll last that long so what’s the point anyway?
In other NFL playoff silliness, I came across an article from the Toronto Star with the headline, “Match made in Fox heaven: Ratings bonanza if the unbeaten Patriots play the Green Bay Favres in Super Bowl XLII.” Oh, those crazy Canadians.
A quick search of the online ticket brokers says NFC Championship tickets are starting at about $600 a piece. (By the way, if you happen to click on one of the Ticket King links here on this site and order some, tell ‘em who sent you. I doubt I get a commission or anything, but it’s worth a try.) Anyone going to the game better bundle up: The National Weather Service says highs will be in the single digits. There’s snow on the way this week, but nothing forecast for Sunday — yet.
Meanwhile, I’m still hunkered down here in the bunker trying not to step on any cracks, cross the paths of any black cats, or do anything else that might possibly jinx this thing.
