As if the Longhorns haven’t won enough things in the past week, Iowa State failed to hold its home court last night and fell to Texas 58-78. Clark and Blalock led the team with 18 and 17 points, respectively, but the Clones gave up 20 points to Kenton Paulino and 19 more to Daniel Gibson. ISU also got beat badly on the boards in the second half. Iowa State falls to 11-4 overall and 1-1 in Big 12 play. They travel to Texas Tech this Saturday.
