The ISU men’s basketball team faced a tough opponent in Mountain State to open the regular season, but the Cyclones answered the bell with a 101-82 victory at Hilton Coliseum last night. Curtis Stinson led the team with 35 points while Jiri Hubalek had 10 boards. The top ranked team in the NAIA, the Cougars had blasted its first eight opponents out of the water scoring an average of 99 points a game, but ISU forced 21 turnovers to shut down the scoring juggernaut.
