And Now For Your Mike Sherman Update » Brats & Beer

It sounds like former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike Sherman is trying to put the band back together. Now coach at Texas A&M, he recently hired his old offensive coordinator Tom Rossley to be the quarterbacks coach and a senior assistant with the Aggies. I wonder what Ed Donatell is doing these days?
Another former Green Bay head coach, Ray Rhodes, also got a new job this week, being named defensive backs coach for the Houston Texans. Rhodes had been with the Seahawks for the last five seasons, first as defensive coordinator and then as coach of special projects/defense.
Interesting (maybe) tidbit of trivia: Since the Lombardi era, the Packers have had eight head coaches come and go, but only Mike Holmgren has had any lasting success as a head coach in the NFL. Of course, he was the only one to lead the team to a championship title and left Green Bay after seven straight winning seasons.
