Sweet Jebus I had forgotten how much I can’t stand Brent Musburger doing basketball coverage. I realize he’s a sweet, senile old man but can’t someone put him out to pasture already? It was pretty sweet though that Greg Stiemsma got to go ice fishing with Erin Andrews.
The good part of the story is the […]

A word of warning to all Brett Favre haters out there: The clock is officially ticking as we await word from The World’s Most Famous John Deere whether No. 4 will retire or return for another season of football. Yes, you will be treated to weekly if not daily mention of the three-time MVP on […]

Day two of the championship hangover and the doctor has prescribed focusing on more pleasant topics to fill the void left in the wake of the Packers season. Something the rising stock of the Badgers basketball team.
I’ve been so keenly obsessed with the Green Bay Packers the past month or more that I’ve hardly read […]

One of the good things to come out of this season is the emergence of the now famous Packer Bikini Girls as the new face of Packer Nation. I’m sure that most people out there think of Packer fans as overweight guys who drink too much beer and eat too many brats (we’re still out […]

Twelve hours removed from the end of the NFC Championship game and it still hurts like hell. It’s going to take some time to get over this, but maybe in a month or so I’ll be able to look back and think about what a good season the Packers had in 2007. Maybe.

Congratulations to the Gints and good luck in the Super Bowl.

UPDATE: […]

Just a quick thanks to the Wausau Daily Herald for listing and linking to a bunch of us bloggers in a special Packers playoff section. And special thanks to all the people who clicked through to say hello.

The game plans are set. The players are ready. Gameday is here. There’s really not much left to be said, except “Go, you Packers! Go!”
In Green Bay this morning it is -13 degrees — welcome to Wisconsin, Eli Manning. By kickoff the temperature is still expected to be around 0 degrees with a light wind […]

PackersNews.com is reporting today that the Green Bay Packers have reached a deal with head coach Mike McCarthy on a new five-year contract that will pay about $4 million a year. While he didn’t get coach of the year honors (he should have), this is at least some reward for his efforts over the past […]

It has been 10 years since the Green Bay Packers last played for the NFC championship — 11 years since the conference title game was last held at Lambeau Field — so there might be some football fans searching the Interwebs who aren’t as well versed in the long and storied history of the Packers. […]
